Tucked away in Franklin County, Indiana lies the historically intriguing canal town of Metamora. Along with a working grist mill, an actual canal boat visitors can ride, and attractive walking trails, there are all kinds of family-owned shops located throughout the town.

One of the most popular stops is Grannie’s Cookie Jars and Ice Cream Parlor. It is a remarkable place, as you can see:

For the collector, it is a place rich with future acquisitions. For the child, it is an array of color and fun. And for everyone, it is nostalgia.

Grannie’s Cookie Jars and Ice Cream Parlor is inspiring, too, since what’s a cookie jar without cookies?
